We’re increasingly surrounded by new rules, regulations and mandates. Every day, there’s either a new prohibition in this game we call 2020 or a new death to blame on someone. It’s almost as if we’re in a fight.

Standing in a bouncy floored square, bound by three thin lines on all sides, facing a trash-talking behemoth of an opponent. He’s super confident. He’s studied us for years. He knows what we’re thinking. He knows what we buy and where we go. He can deduce what’s important to us. His very presence in threatening. But he has a smile on his face. He’s only trying to do what’s best. Our poor little brains just can’t figure it out for ourselves.

What is best? Should you stick your chin out, stand still, close your eyes and wait for the blow? The opponent certainly thinks this is a good choice. Or we could raise your hands in defeat, bow our heads and step out of the ring. We don’t have to be here. Yes, that’s the best choice, according to the ruthless, fearless, opposition. Give up. Admit defeat.

Half our friends and family are waiting for us to lose or quit. Yet, they aren’t in the ring. We are. They can’t see the sweaty toothed mad man up close because they aren’t looking. They’re to busy trying to get the blanket of promised safety to warm their ever-cold toes. These friends and family are standing by with covered faces, stuck in the fear of death, unable to move or think. Unwilling to cry out for the truth. Unwilling to step into the arena. The truth is uncomfortable. Knowledge demands judgement. Judgement demands action. Ignorance is easier.

We’re here. We’re fighting. We’re reading the truth. We’re studying this experienced, practiced, prepared, unflustered, ballsy adversary laying out the plan that’s been waiting in the wings. The plan that applies to you and me but not to government officials. (1) (2) It’s success is built on a foundation of lies, money and intimidation. We just need to find the Achilles heel, the weak point in the web of lies that will bring the creature down- the glass jaw.

And here it is. The glass jaw is us, all of us. The web of lies is founded on mass capitulation. Silence is consent. The key is demanding that your legislator do their job. The legislators represent us. Each of us. They are the balance to the governor, his executive orders, his public health officials and to any state of emergency. It doesn’t matter exactly what you want to say, or how you say it, just demand that the legislators we all hired, meet, as is their role. Demand that they protect us from tyranny. Demand that they speak out against an “emergency” that has lasted nearly a year.

The knock-out hit is simply asking for change. The hay-maker is just an email or phone call! The moment we stand for truth and freedom, is the moment we end this. All that is needed is for all of us to ask for better ideas. Good ideas don’t require force, or coercion, or threatening to jail children.

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

When We The People gather together and cry out that this is wrong, that we won’t stand for another covid child suicide or another lost grandmother. We won’t stand for another fed up grandfather that walked off into the night. We won’t stand for another closed business, another family who can’t buy groceries for their kids because of covid restrictions. We won’t stand by and have family events be relabeled “super spreaders.” When we agree that there must be a better way than discriminating against people with disabilities. (3)(4) We are unstoppable. The giant will fall.
