Nope, not that. I mean preponderence of evidence. A preponderance of evidence, means basically a big lump of obvious proof. Like, for example, hockey is the best, most American sport, obviously. (I’m required to say that based on my alma mater and state residency.) Okay, better example, Socialism has failed every time it has been tried. (You can look that one up.)
When a preponderance of evidence presents itself, and it supports a belief you disagree with, it’s time to analyze your belief. Even if your belief is something you believe to be fact, it’s time to dig deep. No, I don’t mean dig your heels in. I mean dig into that PPE and see if it’s true.
That’s what happened to me. Granted being overly curious is a fault of mine, so my PPE threshold might be lower than yours. However, I began questioning things about 8 years ago. There is a much greater preponderance of evidence today.
What’s all this about? Health, or rather, the lack thereof, especially in children. When my 3rd child was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, I was determined to find answers. My husband and I are both healthy, well relatively. So how did we have 100% of our children develop diseases?
My first clue, came of Facebook. I know… Right there… Oh boy… “Mom science.” End of discussion. How dare a mother have friends who are knowledgeable! How dare a mom read things other than which vacuum is the best!
When I attended college I had a Chemistry professor start off the semester stating he would never give a “A” to a woman. I had professors crowd my personal space and try to intimidate me. I had a professor argue with me about the color green. Apparently, my female eyes were broken. But among these were dozens of wonderful teachers and leaders. I did my best to ignore and avoid the bad apples. I completed my degrees and pursued my career.
I was a scientist! Yay! But the moment I became a mom concerned about her sick children, I lost my credibility. All of a sudden, my career and my degrees meant nothing. It was like those bad-apple professors, again ruled.
Okay sure, at that point, I was stay-at-home mom. I spent my days wiping baby butts, planning meals (ugh) and cleaning the floor (double ugh). However, let me assure you it is entirely possible to lovingly care for your child while also reading technical information. (Seriously, wiping baby butts does not take a lot of brain power.)
As just a mom, I was supposed to listen to the medical status quo. I was told things like “105 degree fevers and hallucinations are normal in some children,” or “a very social 18 month old who stops interacting with humans, and just sits and stares is nothing to be concerned about.” As I began to question these ideologies, I needed tenacity (not giving up) and ingenuity (a thesaurus and dictionary for ideas on what to search for). Searching for “sick kid” on the internet isn’t going to get you a whole lot of detailed information other than, ‘ask your doctor.’ . You have to figure out where and how to look. Thankfully, one no longer has to go to the medical library or the law school library at the University to access peer reviewed journal articles and legal briefs. You do however, have to step out of the norm. Google “are vaccines safe” and you will get this:
In fact you’ll get about 10 pages of the same. Why? Possibly because Google owns stock in multiple health care and health insurance companies including those that contribute to vaccine research. Further, Google’s business model directs you to big business information sources first- and vaccines? Vaccines are big business. Sure, you aren’t forking over a $100 bill for every shot, but insurance is. (11) Vaccinating a child has a cost of over $2000 each year. (12) If you want answers that aren’t motivated by money, you’ll need to go somewhere else.

Pretty big difference, right? Once upon a time, a concerned parent had to dig through VAERS archives for info (9). Of course, first you had to know what VAERS was. Even today, most don’t. Now you can find concerns about the dangers of vaccines right on Forbes.
Ya see, that PPE pile is growing. It’s getting more attention. It’s getting easier to find. Two very good resources are the Informed Consent Action Network at http://www.icandecide.org and the Vaccine Guide at http://vaccine.guide/. These websites specialize in giving you an unbiased information set. The preponderance of evidence has been built by parents and the doctors and scientists they convinced to listen to them and then begin real research to address their needs. The concerned parents dealing with the resulting negative effects of vaccinating children, 300% (4) more than 30 years ago aren’t going away. The websites with accurate information; peer-reviewed medical research, legal documentation and first hand accounts have been growing and growing since the landmark 1986 legislation the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.
Virtually every other sector of the U.S. economy has liability. If a products causes injury and death, the company that made it will be sued. It doesn’t even matter if you ordered the hot coffee that burned you. You can still sue McDonald’s for it (7), but not when it comes to vaccines. Not since, 1986. Nope, these companies cannot be sued in America. Even as our local government focuses on how to manipulate parents into vaccinating, (8) vaccine manufacturers have no legal responsibility if your child dies as a result of their product. (6) (13) If your child’s death is actually proven by forensic scientists to be a result of vaccinations, “Forensic autopsy [of twins] has also revealed sudden death after [combined] DTP [vaccine]” (10) the manufacturer is not required to examine their product. There is no recall process like with a car seat or crib, that would prevent the same injury or death in other children. There is no apology. Nope. The great machine, just keeps on churning.
The loving parents who hate seeing more and more children hurt and dead will keep churning too. We will continue to pray and work towards the day when vaccine manufacturers will be legally liable for all the damage they have wrought.
